Job summary

Skylink Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Shop Supervisor to oversee the commercial vehicle workshop in Singapore. You will plan, coordinate and supervise servicing, maintenance and repair work for fleet vehicles, ensuring safety, quality and on-time completion.

You will lead technicians, assign daily tasks based on capability, monitor progress, provide hands-on guidance for diagnostics, and work with the Workshop Manager and parts team to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in commercial vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Supervisory or senior mechanic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, diagnostics and servicing.
• Ability to lead a team and ensure quality service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations.
• Plan, assign and monitor servicing and repairs for fleet vehicles.
• Lead technicians, allocate daily jobs by capability and priority.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
• Provide hands-on guidance for diagnosing issues.
• Inspect completed work and conduct quality checks.
• Ensure safety and maintain workshop documentation.
• Coordinate with Workshop Manager and other teams on status.
• Coordinate with parts team on spare parts to prevent delays.
• Maintain and safeguard workshop tools and equipment.
• Keep workshop clean, organized and safe.
