Job summary

TEO BAK SOAH TRADING CO is seeking an Operations Executive in Singapore to coordinate fleet-driven REL routes and manage drivers and crew for daily operations.

You will proactively adjust manpower, plan leave, and conduct safety checks to ensure continuity and compliance with regulations. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to respond to emergencies while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet coordination or transport operations.
• Knowledge of waste management or logistics is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience coordinating drivers and crews.
• Comfortable with basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule drivers and crew for REL routes, ensuring full manpower coverage and timely execution of daily operations.
• Proactively adjust, reassign, and deploy manpower to accommodate changes in schedules or emergencies.
• Plan and manage leave schedules to ensure coverage and compliance with policies.
• Conduct spot checks on vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
• Report defects or safety concerns and follow up for rectification.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and risk assessments for drivers and crew.
• Address complaints and escalate where necessary to management.
• Investigate vehicle breakdowns and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide temporary coverage for Controller role during absences.
• Inspect fleet equipment and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain fleet records and inspection schedules.
• Prepare and submit monthly waste and other operational reports as required.
• Liaise with government agencies on regulatory matters when required.
• Prepare vehicle and equipment inspection reports for NEA portal.
• Monitor daily operations and coordinate with stakeholders to minimise disruption.
• Ensure proper handover of operational matters between shifts.
