Job summary

Motional is seeking a Principal Engineer for Cloud Applications in Singapore to define the technical roadmap for managing our autonomous fleet. In this role, you will oversee the design of our Command Center and ensure reliable deployment services while mentoring engineers across teams.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in software engineering, expertise in Golang and Python, and a strong background in cloud computing and system architecture.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience leading major technical initiatives.
• Expert-level proficiency in Golang and Python for backend services.
• Strong experience with cloud providers and containerization principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and scaling of the Command Center to support fleet growth.
• Own the architectural interface between cloud services and on-vehicle hardware.
• Design organization-wide standards for automated testing and CI/CD safety.
