Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to support flavor formulation across Savory, Sweet, and Beverage applications. You will accurately compound and blend formulations and assist the Flavorist team with formulation tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes GLP, precise weighing, data integrity, and compliance with EHS and quality standards, with daily use of SAP for material management and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Candidates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Prior exposure to the food, beverage, flavor, fragrance, or laboratory environment will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compound and blend flavor formulations across Savory, Sweet, and Beverage applications.
• Support flavor development activities by preparing samples and assisting the Flavorist team with formulation tasks.
• Conduct flashpoint testing and other laboratory analyses according to procedures and quality requirements.
• Utilize SAP to identify, retrieve, and manage raw materials for compounding and testing.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment of laboratory materials, and maintain stock records.
• Maintain complete documentation for raw materials, formulations, testing activities, and finished products.
• Apply GLP with focus on weighing accuracy, formulation precision, and data integrity.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of ingredients, flavor samples, and laboratory waste.
• Uphold laboratory housekeeping standards to keep a clean, safe working environment.
• Comply with EHS policies, laboratory safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance laboratory efficiency, quality, and operations.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
