Job summary

Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch is seeking a seasoned SGS trader to provide market making in SGS and related derivatives, while actively managing risk within defined limits. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with colleagues to support trading strategies and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SGS trading, deep knowledge of SGD fixed income markets, and fluency in English and Mandarin for client and HQ communication.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in SGS trading.
• Good knowledge of SGD fixed income markets, including hedging products.
• Strong problem solving skills and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent team player and work well with others.
• Knowledge of China Onshore fixed income and/or FX trading would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Market making in SGS and related derivatives. Provide timely and competitive quotes on clients' request.
• Manage market risk on fixed income trading positions, ensuring exposure is in accordance with risk limits and internal policies.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of and/or market-making experience in China Onshore fixed income (eg CGB, Policy Bank, Credit, derivatives) and/or FX trading would be a plus.

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin so to communicate with Chinese speaking clients or HQ staff
