Job summary

Prudential Hong Kong Limited in Singapore seeks a diligent Fit and Proper analyst to perform first-line reviews of declarations, monitoring submissions, and due diligence processes. You will ensure accuracy, timely escalation, and maintain reliable records.

The role supports risk-based assessments, data collection, and reporting, reporting to the Lead, Fit & Proper Standards & Monitoring. Diploma or degree in business or related field and 2–3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or professional qualification in business, finance, risk management, compliance, insurance, or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in operations, compliance, business quality, due diligence, or governance within financial services or insurance preferred.
• Analytical, documentation, and organisational skills are valued.
• Experience using spreadsheets, trackers, workflow tools, or case-management systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independent Fit and Proper assessment: assess Annual Fit and Proper declarations and ongoing screening matters with evidence-based outcomes.
• Enhanced Monitoring recommendations: formulate monitoring measures, duration, conditions, escalation, and closure criteria.
• Fit and Proper monitoring: track monitoring conditions, required submissions, evidence, due dates, breaches, and follow-ups to closure.
• Sanctions: issue applicable sanctions per relevant frameworks.
• Service Standards: ensure assessments and case actions meet service-level agreements.
• Controls and records: maintain trackers, case files, evidence, correspondence, and audit trails.
• Process improvement: identify gaps and support enhancements to procedures, templates, trackers, and reporting.
• Reporting support: compile operational statistics and status updates for team and management.
