Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Singapore is seeking an Embedded Software (Firmware) Intern to join a hybrid team. You will design, implement, test and validate firmware for state-of-the-art networking products, applying on-the-job learning and expanding into other platform work as you grow.

Capable of gathering requirements, designing modules, and mitigating risks, you will debug issues, drive fixes to closure, and contribute to technical discussions with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, CS, EE, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of software development principles.
• Experience with software development tools and processes.
• Knowledge of C programming.
• Interest and ability to conduct issues investigation and develop solutions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, eager and quick learner.
• Team player with ability to collaborate across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team that designs, implements, tests and validates firmware for networking products.
• Apply and build on your existing technical knowledge on-the-job, with opportunities to grow into other platform work.
• Understand and gather project requirements, design sub-modules and identify risks.
