Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation in Singapore is seeking an early-career embedded software engineer to join our product teams. You will analyze, design, and maintain software for Zebra's embedded products, perform firmware changes, and help test and validate software with hardware integrations.

You will participate in code reviews, run tests, diagnose root causes, and contribute to improving performance and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 1 year of experience with embedded products.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization's products and systems.
• Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
• Participates and provides input in project code reviews.
• Runs software tests designed by more experienced engineers.
• Reviews test results and performs root cause analyses to identify problems.
• Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues.
• Makes changes to or upgrades existing firmware.
