Job summary

MAXX ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and execute fire alarm and electrical system projects from initiation to completion. You will review designs, supervise installation, and test systems to meet standards and client requirements.

You will liaise with main contractors, consultants and owners, manage submissions, planning, and costs, and ensure QA and safety on site. Travel to project sites is expected as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, or related field.
• Experience in project management is an added advantage.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites as required.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with main contractor, consultant and owner for project requirements.
• In charge of material submission, design review and progress claim.
• Plan for site work installation, worker deployment and material requisition.
• Monitor cost estimating, developing a budget and resource planning.
• Prepare project progress reports, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation for drawings, approvals, and test reports.
• Monitor project cost and control variations within budget.
• Work with vendors to control cost and quality of products.
• Implement quality assurance and safety procedures on site.
