WENG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation and maintenance of fire protection electrical systems, offering hands-on experience and growth within the fire safety industry.

You will assist with designing, laying out, installing and testing fire protection systems, conduct site inspections, prepare drawings and documentation, and collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure safe, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

Diploma/NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience or knowledge in fire alarm or fire protection systems.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and external partners.
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, laying out, and installing fire protection electrical systems, including fire alarms, to meet project specifications
Support senior engineers by conducting site inspections, performing system testing, and assisting in commissioning activities
Prepare, update, and maintain accurate technical documentation and electrical drawings for fire protection projects
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues to ensure reliable operation and compliance with safety standards
Coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate timely and smooth project execution
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
