Job summary

SVM SOLUTIONS AND TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Financial Transformation Leader to drive finance process improvements for our ship-management SaaS solutions from our Singapore office.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize processes and deliver technology-driven improvements. The role covers end-to-end lifecycle management for the SaaS product, including requirements gathering, development coordination, testing, deployment, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (must-have).
• Experience in financial transformation and ERP/ financial software implementations.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, controls, and reporting.
• Experience managing technology or SaaS product implementation projects.
• Familiarity with SDLC and translating requirements into specs.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in maritime/shipping industry is advantageous.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Transformation Leader to lead financial process transformation initiatives for our ship management software solutions. Based in our Singapore office, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to enhance financial processes, implement technology-driven improvements, and deliver successful SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities

• Align financial transformation projects with the organisation's strategic objectives.


• Design, implement, and optimise financial processes for ship management operations.


• Review existing workflows, identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements.


• Translate stakeholder and business requirements into effective financial and technology solutions.


• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and drive operational excellence.


• Promote best practices, automation, and innovative approaches to improve efficiency and controls.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


• Take end-to-end ownership of the software development lifecycle for the assigned SaaS product, including requirements gathering, development coordination, testing, implementation, and ongoing improvement.


• Support client engagements, project implementations, stakeholder meetings, and software development activities.


• Travel approximately 50% during the initial stage of the role, which may subsequently reduce to approximately 25%. Travel may include domestic and occasional international trips, depending on business and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.


• Relevant experience in financial transformation, finance process improvement, ERP implementation, or financial software solutions.


• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, controls, and reporting requirements.


• Experience managing technology or SaaS product implementation projects.


• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and translating business requirements into functional specifications.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder-management skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Experience in the maritime, shipping, or ship management industry would be an advantage.


• Willingness and ability to travel according to project and business requirements.
