Darmax Global, a leading Asia-focused investment manager, is creating a Financial Controller role in Singapore. The position reports to the Head of Finance in Hong Kong and offers real ownership of group cash-flow reporting and regional financial controls.

You will lead controls across Singapore, India, Japan and Korea, collaborate with fund accounting, treasury and administrators, and support month-end closes, audits and regulatory reporting as the platform grows.

Formación

• Buy-side finance experience at asset manager or hedge fund is essential.
• Experience across India, Japan, Korea and Singapore.
• Strong cash-flow, treasury and financial-control skills at group level.
• Accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA) preferred.
• Credit or hedge-fund product knowledge is an advantage; Japanese or Korean language is a plus.

A leading Asia-focused alternative investment manager is creating a Financial Controller role in Singapore. Most of the work supports its credit and hedge-fund business, with some private-equity exposure. You will report to the Head of Finance in Hong Kong. This is a new position and offers real ownership.

The role

• Own group-level cash-flow reporting and forecasting across the firm's funds and entities.
• Lead financial control for entities across Singapore, India, Japan and Korea: reporting, controls and local requirements.
• Work closely with fund accounting, operations, treasury and the fund administrators.
• Support month-end and year-end closes, audits and regulatory reporting.
• Improve processes and controls as the platform grows.

You will need

• Buy-side finance experience at an asset manager, hedge fund or alternatives firm. This is a must.
• A background at a larger, multi-jurisdiction platform, with hands-on knowledge of India, Japan, Korea and Singapore.
• Strong cash-flow, treasury and financial-control skills at group or fund level.
• A recognised accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or CPA) is preferred.
• Credit or hedge-fund product knowledge is an advantage. Japanese or Korean is a plus.
