Job summary

SG JOBS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee global accounting, cash management, and financial reporting in Singapore.

You will ensure revenue recognition is applied correctly and internal controls protect company assets, with guidance across entities. Responsibilities include maintaining records in line with policies, supporting due diligence for acquisitions or disposals, and ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Balance credit risk with business objectives and authorize valid claims.
• Oversee global accounting, cash management, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
• Provide technical accounting guidance, including due diligence for acquisitions/disposals.
• Ensure proper timing and application of revenue recognition.
• Ensure financial records comply with company policies.

Job description

1.Ensure credit risk is balanced with business objectives, targets are met and only valid claims with proper management authorization are paid.

2.Oversee the global accounting function, cash management / reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management and revenue recognition.

3.Accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.

4.Provide technical accounting guidance and support to all company entities. At times, this may include involvement in due diligence and other activities involving acquisitions / disposals.

5.Responsible for proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules.

6.Ensure that company financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies.
