Ambition in Singapore seeks a commercially driven Financial Controller to lead its finance function. You will own financial reporting, controls, and act as a trusted partner to management as the business grows, reporting to the Finance Director.

You will manage monthly close, group consolidation, liquidity, and tax submissions while strengthening policies and mentoring the finance team. Regional collaboration and strategic input are key aspects of this role.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance with professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA) and 8+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Experience in multi-entity environments with financing and covenant reporting.
• Hands-on with ERP systems and strong Excel proficiency.
• Confident, decisive leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee group consolidation, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations; review team work.
• Manage liquidity, banking relationships and financing arrangements, including covenant governance.
• Ensure FRS compliance, lead the audit process, and review tax submissions.
• Strengthen financial controls and lead cross-functional accounting projects.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Collaborate with regional teams on reporting and ad hoc projects.

A well-established organisation within the consumer sector, headquartered in Singapore, is looking for a commercially driven Financial Controller to lead its finance function. This role reports to the Finance Director, with strong visibility across the business. You’ll own financial reporting and controls, and act as a trusted partner to management as the organisation continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Own the monthly close and ensure accurate, timely financial statements and consolidated reporting across all entities
• Monitor financial performance against key targets and provide insight and analysis to senior management
• Oversee group consolidation, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, and review the work of the team
• Manage liquidity, banking relationships and financing arrangements, including covenant governance and reporting
• Ensure FRS compliance, lead the audit process, and review corporate tax, GST and withholding tax submissions
• Strengthen financial policies, processes and controls, and lead cross-functional accounting projects
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team
• Work with regional teams on reporting, alignment and ad hoc projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy with a professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA) with more than 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally with Big 4 audit background
• Experience in multi-entity environments, with exposure to financing and covenant reporting
• Hands-on with ERP systems and strong in Excel
• Confident, decisive leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to multi-task and deliver under tight timelines
