TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior analyst to partner with portfolio managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements.

You will analyze investment workflows, coordinate with IT, risk and finance, and drive technology solutions for front-office activities in a Singapore-based role. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT or related field.

• Experience with front-to-back investment workflows in asset management or financial services.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Partner with portfolio managers and business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
2. Analyse existing investment workflows and recommend improvements to systems, processes and tools supporting portfolio management and trade execution.
3. Work with IT, risk, finance and other internal stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions supporting front-office investment activities.
4. Coordinate with external software vendors and service providers on system enhancements, implementation projects and production-related matters.
5. Prepare test strategies, test scenarios and test plans, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades, enhancements and new product implementations.
6. Monitor and troubleshoot investment-related systems and operational processes, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve production issues promptly.
7. Support the development and implementation of system and process roadmaps, including new functionality, upgrades and workflow improvements.
8. Maintain appropriate process controls and ensure that investment workflows meet required standards for data integrity, information security and auditability.
9. Develop and maintain user guides, operating procedures, system documentation and other materials required to support users and implemented solutions.
10. Manage project schedules, vendors, implementation activities and change-management initiatives to facilitate successful adoption of new systems, products and business processes.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, product management, investment systems or similar functions within the asset management or financial services sector.
3. Good understanding of public-market investment transaction workflows, particularly front-to-back processes involving fixed income and foreign exchange (FX).
4. Knowledge and experience with investment management systems such as Murex, SimCorp Dimension, BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River or similar platforms.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience in system implementation, UAT/testing, documentation and managing multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
