• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect management, and business implementation.

• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Job Description: Senior Business Analyst - Finance

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 8-10 years of experience in business analysis and a strong background in finance-related projects, financial systems, data management, and requirements management. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, system analysts, project managers, and testing teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, a good understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements, and the ability to manage stakeholders and deliver effectively in complex and fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists and key stakeholders to elicit, review, validate, and document business requirements.
• Analyze existing processes and define "As-Is" and "To-Be" business and operational processes based on agreed requirements.
• Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct business and system impact assessments for new requirements and proposed changes.
• Provide effort estimations and impact assessments for project change requests.
• Identify, monitor, and manage risks and issues related to requirements, dependencies, and scope.
• Proactively identify and manage scope creep throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements are complete, clear, consistent, testable, and aligned with business goals.
• Transition business requirements to System Analysts and technical teams, ensuring clarity, completeness, and appropriate context.
• Review test plans, test scenarios, and functional test scope prepared by the testing team.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably with a strong track record of delivering finance-related projects.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with financial systems and data management.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, impact analysis, and traceability.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect management, and business implementation.
• Strong understanding of change management and project management fundamentals.
• Experience working with JIRA for requirements, issue, and defect tracking.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentations.
