Job summary

Our client, a globally recognised FMCG leader, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support regional finance and controlling across the APAC region. You will report to the Senior Manager, Controlling, and engage in planning, reporting, and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities include forecasting, variance analysis, SKU profitability, and finance data management in SAP, with exposure to global finance teams and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or a related discipline.
• Finance, FP&A, audit, or controlling experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multinational environment.
• SAP or ERP exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasting and financial planning with stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly management reports, commentaries, and variance analysis.
• Analyze SKU profitability and maintain profitability reporting.
• Submit financial data into internal planning systems and prepare reporting packages.
• Liaise with global finance teams on reporting requirements and forecasts.
• Support financial control activities including invoice review and reconciliations.
• Maintain marketing spend trackers, vendor data, pricing info in SAP.
• Manage fixed asset processes including PO creation and asset tracking for APAC.
• Assist with external audits, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Controlling, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, business performance analysis, and financial controls across the APAC business.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Support the monthly forecasting and financial planning process, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Prepare monthly management reports, business commentaries, and variance analysis to provide insights into business performance.
• Analyse SKU profitability and maintain profitability reporting to support commercial decision-making.
• Submit financial data into internal planning systems and prepare reporting packages for management meetings.
• Liaise with global finance teams on reporting requirements, forecast assumptions, and financial submissions.
• Support financial control activities including invoice review, account reconciliations, and monitoring receivables exposure.
• Maintain marketing spend trackers, vendor master data, pricing information, and other key finance records within SAP.
• Manage fixed asset processes, including purchase order creation and asset tracking for the APAC office.
• Assist with external audits, statutory compliance matters, and coordination with auditors, tax advisors, and regional finance stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with relevant finance, FP&A, audit, or controlling experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Meticulous, organised, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced multinational environment.
• Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous
