Job summary

Singapore Management University is seeking a seasoned procurement and operations professional to join the Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM). You will manage end-to-end procurement, oversee budget processes and maintain financial records across the unit.

You will work with project managers and stakeholders to ensure policy compliance, process POs and invoices, and coordinate asset management and staff support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in budget planning, procurement processes, financial administration and HR matters.
• Knowledge of end-to-end procurement including tenders, vendor evaluation and contract management; SAP/Ariba required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tenders, pitches, proposals and vendor selection.
• Ensure activities comply with SMU procurement and finance policies and processes.
• Process POs, invoices, payments and reconcile against POs; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records, budget tracking and reconcile entries.
• Support budget reports, annual submissions and three-year rolling budget.
• Maintain fixed assets records and coordinate asset verification with IITS.
• Support OCCM procurement and stock-taking for The SMU Shop.
• Provide admin and HR support to the unit; assist training and records management.
