Job summary

sggovterp invites applications for a Manager / Deputy Manager, Financial Planning. You will help govern and control initiatives, manage budgeting matters, and bridge business requirements with technical solutions, including the Finance ERP system.

You will partner with internal stakeholders to establish governance, support day-to-day operations, gather business needs, design solutions with technical teams, drive adoption, and manage contractors to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in accountancy, business administration or related field.
• Good working knowledge of project finance functions and budget tracking.
• Ability to gather and translate complex requirements into system solutions.
• Solid project management, planning and stakeholder communication skills.
• Driven, curious mindset with willingness to learn.
• Experience with Python or BI tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to contribute to governance and controls for initiatives.
• Support day-to-day operations of initiatives, ensuring efficient processes.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and identify suitable solutions, including Finance ERP.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions aligned with business goals.
• Drive adoption of changes and provide training and support for new solutions.
• Manage contractors to meet contractual obligations and deliver quality outcomes.
