Poni Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive to support daily accounting tasks in our Singapore office. You will break down commissions, prepare reconciliations, and maintain audit trails for monthly closing. The role requires Diploma or above in Finance/Accounting, with CPA/ACCA bonus, and proficiency in ERP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is a bonus.
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices.

Responsibilities

• Break down commissions by advisor/channel and calculate referral fees.
• Perform month-end closing activities and expense settlements with reconcil iations.
• Input data accurately and maintain database integrity; conduct weekly/monthly reconciliation.
• Generate financial reports and audit trails to support monthly close.
• Retain tax invoices, receipts, and working papers for 5 years per IRAS requirements.
• Coordinate with Group Tax Specialists and external consultants on GST returns.
• Assist MAS audits by preparing audit logs and reconciliation records.
• Serve as main contact for external vendors and manage vendor statements.
• Oversee daily office operations and handle incoming mail/deliveries.
