RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Finance & Costing Manager for a leading manufacturing solutions company in Singapore (Tuas). The role oversees financial accounting, costing, reporting and business performance within the Finance Team.

The candidate should have 8+ years in manufacturing finance, SAP experience, and strong budgeting, costing and audit skills to drive cost optimisation and CAPEX planning with HQ collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance.
• Hands-on SAP and financial reporting experience.
• Strong budgeting, analysis and management reporting capabilities.
• Experience with month-end closing, audits and statutory reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing costing and CAPEX transactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR, AP, GL and month-end closing, including reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly statements, cash flow schedules and management reports for HQ.
• Manage GST submissions, corporate tax matters, audits and liaise with authorities.
• Oversee fixed asset management, asset tagging and CAPEX reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, costing and profitability analysis.
• Drive cost optimisation opportunities with business stakeholders.
• Oversee precious metal transactions and related gain/loss analysis.
• Coordinate with HQ on policies and reporting requirements.

Job description

Our client is a leading manufacturing solutions company serving specialised industrial and healthcare-related markets.Due to business needs, they are now recruiting aFinance & Costing Managerto be part of their Finance Team, overseeing financial accounting, costing, reporting and business performance activities. They are located in theTuas- easily accessible.

Company Transport Provided at JE, Lakeside, Khatib.
Working timing from 7.45am to 4.45pm

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-spectrum accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL and month-end closing.
• Manage bank, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, including foreign exchange gain/loss analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow schedules and management reports for HQ.
• Manage GST submissions, corporate tax matters, annual audits and liaison with auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities.
• Oversee fixed asset management, including periodic verification and asset tagging.
• Coordinate with HQ Finance on accounting policies, reporting requirements and financial matters.
• Handle corporate banking activities and other finance-related matters.

Costing & Business Performance

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting activities.
• Establish and review standard costs, product margins and manufacturing cost structures.
• Analyse financial performance, cost variances and profitability, providing actionable insights to management.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify cost optimisation and profitability improvement opportunities.
• Oversee precious metal transactions, including refining activities and related gain/loss analysis.
• Manage CAPEX financial planning, tracking and reporting.
• Oversee COO cost statement applications, renewals and updates.
• Lead costing and financial closing activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience with strong exposure to financial accounting and costing.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and financial reporting systems.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, management reporting and product costing.
• Experience managing month-end closing, audit, tax and statutory reporting activities.
• Candidates with experience in manufacturing costing, CAPEX and precious metal-related transactions will have an added advantage.
