Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Finance Manager to lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations. The role covers monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.

You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and authorities, improve internal controls, and guide the accounting team to deliver accurate financials. Tuas location.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; professional qualifications preferred.
• Experience leading an accounting team and external audit exposure.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and group consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regs, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and regulators.
• Review and improve accounting policies and internal controls.
• Analyze financial performance and provide profitability insights.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management on ad hoc projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Tuas

FINANCE MANAGER

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable(AR), General Ledger (GL), fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities on financial and compliance matters.
• Review and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to enhance profitability and cost management.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team to ensure high standards of performance and accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management, and undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy with professional accounting qualifications preferred
• Experienced accounting manager with both experience in external audit and experience in leading and managing accounting team
• Proven experience in intercompany accounting and group consolidation
• Proven experience in managing / improving end-to-end financial closing process
• Knowledge in ERP software (especially accounting module)
