RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is partnering with a leading medical devices manufacturer to hire a Finance Manager in the East area of Singapore. The role focuses on end-to-end accounting, group consolidation, and intercompany transactions, supporting timely financial reporting.

You will oversee monthly/annual closings, audits, and statutory reporting, while driving process improvements and automation. A degree in accounting and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have solid experience with group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS/IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems is advantageous.

Job description

Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end accounting activities for several entities within the group.
• Manage the monthly and annual financial closing process, including necessary adjustments and reporting.
• Prepare financial and management reports, as well as group-level consolidation.
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations and consolidation adjustments between entities.
• Review general ledger accounts, balance sheet schedules and supporting reconciliations for accuracy.
• Manage accounting matters relating to inventory, product costing and stock provisions.
• Coordinate audit exercises, tax matters, GST submissions and statutory requirements across the relevant entities.
• Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial information and reports for management review.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls and finance systems, including automation initiatives.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller, auditors, tax agents, banks and other stakeholders on group reporting and other finance-related projects.
• Perform any ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience in group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Good knowledge of SFRS / IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems will be an advantage.
