Job summary

bolttech in Singapore is seeking a seasoned finance leader to head Financial Control and Tax across bolttech businesses in Singapore. You will mentor a diverse finance team, streamline systems and processes, and build strong relationships to deliver a best-in-class finance function.

You will present financial reports to management and the board, partner with stakeholders on business cases, and implement risk controls while ensuring regulatory compliance and sound governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance is preferred.
• 8+ years in finance operations and reporting, with audit background.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
• Experience in insurance brokerage is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken communication and meticulousness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial reports to the management team and board with insights.
• Partner with stakeholders on new business opportunities and business cases.

In this position you will…

…lead and manage the Financial Control, and Tax functions for Bolttech businesses in Singapore. You will work closely with a diverse team of finance professionals across Asia. By mentoring and developing the team, implementing systems and process, and by building key relationships, you will help to build a best-in-class finance function.

You will be responsible for…

• Preparing and presenting financial reports to the company's management team and board of directors. This includes analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and providing insights and recommendations based on the data.
• Partnering with the business stakeholders on new business opportunities and development of business cases.
• Identifying and managing financial risks for the company. This includes developing risk management strategies, monitoring financial risks, and implementing controls to mitigate risks.

Compliance:

• Ensuring that the company complies with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. This includes working with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

Leadership:

• Leading and managing the finance team. This includes setting goals and objectives, providing guidance and support, and developing the team's skills and capabilities.

You will require the following qualifications and skills

• Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance preferably
• Above 8-years experience in finance operation and reporting, with audit background
• Experience using Oracle Fusion systems is a plus
• Experience in Insurance Agency and Brokerage is a plus
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient with MS Excel and Word
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills and able to thrive in a fast-pace setting
