• Manage & develop the accounting and shared services teams.
• Support & ensure smooth monthly reporting and year end closing processes.
• Effective collaboration across all departments on process improvements.
• Continuously structure, standardize and optimize financial processes and controls.
• Overseeing audit and tax functions and managing GST & tax compliance.
• Work with the SAP implementation team to streamline finance processes.
• Handle Governmental agencies queries and grant application.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage & develop the accounting and shared services teams
• Support & ensure smooth monthly reporting and year end closing processes
• Effective collaboration across all departments on process improvements
• Continuously structure, standardize and optimize financial processes and controls.
• Overseeing audit and tax functions and managing GST & tax compliance including withholding tax.
• Work with the SAP implementation team to streamline existing and future finance processes (both Financial and Management reporting), increase finance transparency and reduce month end closing timelines while ensuring a strong controlled environment.
• Handle Governmental agencies queries and grant application including regular follow up.
• And other related duties associated with the position.
