Job summary

LIAN BENG CONSTRUCTION (1988) PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee daily finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and month-end closing.

You will ensure timely financial reporting, GST and tax compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily finance operations, including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, cash flow management and month-end closing.
• Ensurethe accuracy and timely preparation of financial reports, including audited financial statements, GST returns and income tax returns
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights and support to management in strategic business decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial experience
• Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred
• Experience in managing financial operations, full set of accounts and financial reporting
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, Corporate Income Tax and statutory compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity and attention to detail
