Job summary

UNION BOOK COMPANY (PRIVATE) LIMITED, based in Singapore, seeks an experienced finance professional to manage AR/AP, GL entries, and month-end closing. You will liaise with auditors and banks, prepare statements, and support budgeting and costing activities.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Chinese, proficient in QuickBooks, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Accountancy/Finance with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.
• Experience in QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of finance, budgeting and costing.
• Hands-on, detail oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Mature, positive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of finance and accounts activities such as Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP), General ledger (GL) entries
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet & P&L & Cash Flow Statement schedule and reconciliation
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax agents and relevant government authorities
• Handle all bank related matters and annual audit exercise
• Lead in month-end closing process.
• Calculating exchange gain & loss
