Job summary

AVA Global Pte Ltd invites applications for an Accounts/Finance Manager to lead financial operations within the construction sector, ensuring accuracy, internal controls, and timely reporting. The role demands strong coordination across the department and adherence to policies.

You will prepare monthly financial reports, manage cash flow, and liaise with bankers and auditors while helping to implement robust procedures. This position is based in Singapore and requires on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
• CPA certification will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts/Finance Department; identify and resolve operational issues.
• Establish and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
• Review and verify documentation for payments to vendors/suppliers; perform ad-hoc audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounts.
• Review the integrity and accuracy of monthly accounts.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to management, including: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Accounts Receivable Ageing, Accounts Payable Ageing, Progress Claim Billings, Bank Balances.
• Perform management accounting tasks, including project costing, budget monitoring, preparing projected financial statements, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
• Liaise with external authorities, bankers, and auditors on financial matters.
