Job summary

AVA GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accounts/Finance Manager in Singapore to lead the department, enforce policies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will review vendor payments, manage cash flow, and prepare monthly statements including P&L, balance sheet, and aging analyses. The role entails project costing, budgeting, and liaising with auditors and authorities. The successful candidate has a degree in accounting (CPA advantageous) and at least five years in the construction sector,

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
• CPA certification is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure efficiency of the Accounts/Finance Department.
• Establish and maintain department policies and procedures.
• Review vendor payments, perform ad-hoc audits for accuracy and integrity.
• Review the integrity and accuracy of monthly accounts.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, AR/AP ageing, progress billing, bank balances).
• Perform management accounting tasks including project costing and budgeting.
• Liaise with authorities, bankers and auditors on financial matters.

Position: Accounts/Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts/Finance Department; identify and resolve operational issues.
• Establish and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
• Review and verify documentation for payments to vendors/suppliers; perform ad-hoc audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounts.
• Review the integrity and accuracy of monthly accounts.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to management, including:
• Profit & Loss
• Balance Sheet
• Accounts Receivable Ageing
• Accounts Payable Ageing
• Progress Claim Billings
• Bank Balances
• Perform management accounting tasks, including project costing, budget monitoring, preparing projected financial statements, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
• Liaise with external authorities, bankers, and auditors on financial matters.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
• CPA certification will be an advantage.
