Job description

Scope of Responsibilities

• Oversee financial close, preparation of accounts, statutory reporting, and audits for the regional office in Singapore and all subsidiaries, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Drive process improvement, continuous enhancement, standardization, and automation of reporting and finance processes.
• Implement robust internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including audit and tax regulations.
• Supervise accounting operations, encompassing payables, receivables, billing, procurement, treasury, taxation, and payroll.
• Monitor finance metrics to assess productivity and efficiency of finance functions, ensuring value delivery to business partners and key stakeholders.
• Foster business partnering and collaboration with Growth, Commercial, Operations, and other teams to enhance financial performance.
• Manage and provide coaching to team members, with a strong emphasis on execution, accuracy, and business partnering.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other relevant external parties for the entity.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned within Finance-related areas.

Minimum requirement

• Possess a minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance leadership capacity overseeing a team of 8 or more individuals.
• Hold a degree in Accountancy.
• Be a CPA / CA / ACCA qualified professional.
• Demonstrate a hands-on approach to finance and accounting, coupled with strategic and creative thinking, and a proactive demeanor.
• Exhibit experience in mentoring small teams and spearheading finance digital transformation within a rapidly expanding organization.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, audit procedures, tax compliance, and other regulatory matters.
• Display strong logical and analytical capabilities, complemented by excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
