Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to handle a full set of accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accountancy or Finance, has 3-5 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in accounting software. This full-time position offers a structured workweek from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Manage and monitor capital expenditures and cash flow reporting
• Assist with GST submission, corporate tax computation, and preparation of tax returns
• Support external audit processes, liaising with auditors to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls and accounting processes

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent; ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred
• 3–5 years of experience handling full set of accounts
• Strong knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards and tax regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Five working days (Full time) from 9:00AM to 6:00PM
