Job summary

BNG Hospitality Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned finance leader to oversee financial management, reporting and control across our restaurant and club operations. You will prepare monthly statements, monitor revenue performance, and ensure timely month-end closes.

Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and profitability initiatives. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries while mentoring the finance team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/CA certification is preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of finance or accounting experience in hospitality, F&B, or retail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Monitor revenue performance across outlets and provide financial analysis to management.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare management reports for directors and shareholders.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts for restaurant and club operations.
• Monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Work with operations to control costs and improve profitability.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations, GST, and statutory reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
• Manage cash flow and implement internal controls.
• Supervise finance staff and provide training.
• Provide financial insights to support expansion plans and strategic decisions.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Monitor revenue performance across outlets and provide financial analysis to management.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare management reports and financial summaries for directors and shareholders.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for restaurant and club operations.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Work with operations teams to control operational costs and improve profitability.

Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure proper accounting records are maintained in accordance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements including tax filings, GST submissions, and statutory reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.

Cash Flow & Financial Controls

• Manage company cash flow and financial planning.
• Implement internal financial controls and procedures.
• Monitor cash handling procedures across outlets including POS reconciliation and cash deposits.
• Identify financial risks and recommend improvements to financial processes.

Team Management

• Supervise finance and accounts staff including finance executives and accounts assistants.
• Provide guidance and training to the finance team.
• Ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting standards are maintained.

Business Support & Strategic Planning

• Provide financial insights to support business decisions and expansion plans.
• Conduct financial analysis for new outlet openings, projects, and investments.
• Support management with cost analysis and operational efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of finance or accounting experience , preferably in hospitality, F&B, or retail operations.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and GST requirements .
• Experience managing multi-outlet financial operations is an advantage.
