Job summary

Thakral One is seeking a Head of Accounting, Reporting & Compliance to lead the finance function and ensure integrity of financial reporting. Responsibilities include governance, internal controls, and statutory compliance across business units.

You will drive process excellence, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and manage regulatory filings while coordinating with external advisors and authorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience in shared services, multi-entity environments, and regional operations (preferred).
• May have prior experience in IT Consulting/Services (advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and close activities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and reporting.
• Review and approve financial statements, management reports, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure full set of accounts, group consolidation, and multi-entity reporting.
• Monitor data integrity and lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning.
• Provide financial modelling and decision support for strategic initiatives.
