Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in relevant disciplines.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in similar sectors.
• Experience in the Social Service sector would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and ensure the accuracy and timely submission of monthly and year-end management reports and analysis by reviewing submissions from subordinates.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, collaborate cross-functionally with HODs to support and align financial plans with business objectives.
• Strong in analysis of financial numbers; highlight any discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure books are maintained in compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policy.
• Review and ensure tax compliance for activities including GST and corporate tax computation and tax-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with group policies and local statutory requirements.
• Provide commentaries on operational performance and support planning, operations, and implementation of financial controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in continual process re-engineering.
• Provide support and guidance to the finance team, fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Assist in treasury and bank-related matters including cashflow forecast.
