Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks an experienced finance leader to oversee compliance with statutory requirements and drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. You will manage GST filings, audits, and government reporting, while strengthening governance and ERP-enabled processes across the finance function.

The role requires a strong background in cost accounting, treasury management, and cross-functional collaboration to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Professional qualification such as ISCA, ACCA, or CA is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of finance and accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Act, FRS, GST, and compliance.
• Experience with EDB reporting and GST filings, including Major Exporter Scheme.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, costing, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in SAP or Epicor ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Companies Act, FRS, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare monthly and annual Survey reports to the EDB.
• Manage GST filings, including Major Exporter Scheme.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Maintain governance and internal control frameworks for regulatory compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and cost monitoring.
• Analyze product costing and profitability with cross-functional teams.
• Lead standard costing and monitor cost centre expenditures against budget.
• Oversee treasury activities and optimize working capital.
