Job summary

Versant Media, LLC in Singapore, in collaboration with CNBC International, offers a Finance Intern role from January to June 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance, supporting FP&A and Controllership with cross‑functional teams across regions.

This internship requires undergraduates in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle data, deadlines, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• University undergraduates majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
• Available for a full-time internship from January to June.
• Attention to detail, proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks while operating under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support on month end close process including:
• Take ownership of updating the review file each month
• Update schedule of monthly FX rates
• Review key cost movements and write meaningful business commentary
• Post month end review and consolidation of OPEX costs
• Lead project to streamline and reduce turnaround time on reporting for Travel and Entertainment costs
• Produce monthly T&E reporting packs for key business partners (News, Tech Ops, Leadership)
• Provide analytical support for commercial proposals and reviews
• Support reviews with billing, collection & vendor teams, tracking key metrics and issues
• Support ad hoc projects as assigned
