Job summary

Versant Media/ CNBC International is offering a Digital News Intern position for Jan–Jun 2027 in Singapore. You will support the Digital team in producing high-quality content for CNBC, with a focus on business, economics and financial markets across digital platforms.

Collaborate with colleagues in Singapore and Europe, pitch and write for CNBC.com, and gain hands-on experience with CMS, video clipping, and social media publishing in a dynamic newsroom.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing business, economics, mass communication or media production.
• Eligible to work in Singapore.
• Available for full-time internship Jan–Jun.
• Interest in business news, economics and financial markets.
• Able to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced news environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and take initiative.
• Fluent English to write feature stories.
• Flexible with early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues in Singapore and Europe to research and produce digital articles.
• Pitch, report and write news and features for CNBC.com.
• Ingest articles from partner organizations into CNBC's CMS.
• Assist Audience team with social media posts to drive site traffic.
• Collaborate with Singapore newsroom on joint projects and pitches, including research and fact-checking.
• Clip videos from TV output for CNBC.com.
