Job summary

SJ Group in Singapore is offering a finance internship focused on budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. You will support consolidation of submissions from countries and sectors and help prepare executive financial commentary for senior management.

You will gain hands-on experience in working capital analytics, data cleansing, and reporting automation using Power BI and ERP systems, while collaborating with regional teams and finance stakeholders across Asia, ANZ and the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel abilities.
• Understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts.
• Experience with Power BI or data visualization is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across regions.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and analysis of annual budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Assist in consolidating financial submissions from countries and sectors.
• Analyse variances against budget and forecast to identify drivers.
• Support preparation of executive presentations and financial commentary.
