Job summary

Publicis Groupe Singapore is seeking a proactive Finance Automation & Data Intern to support the Finance team in streamlining processes and improving reporting efficiency. You will gain exposure to data, automation, AI technologies, and corporate finance operations.

The role involves building automated reports, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and technology use.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• Strong interest in finance, data analytics, process improvement, and emerging technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
• Interest or experience in Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI tools, or automation platforms is a plus.
• Detail oriented, analytical, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
• Assist in analysing financial data and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain automated reports, trackers, and workflows using Excel, Python, SQL, or other data tools.
• Explore the use of Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to streamline reporting, data validation, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Assist with data extraction, cleansing, and analysis from multiple finance systems and databases.
• Support process improvement initiatives, including automation of repetitive manual tasks.
• Assist with financial reconciliations, forecasting exercises, budgeting support, and ad hoc finance projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders on system enhancements and process optimisation initiatives.
