Job summary

Publicis Groupe Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented diploma/degree student to join our Finance team for a hands-on internship. You will contribute to client reconciliations, currency checks, and FX variance analyses while learning our end-to-end financial processes.

You will work with Excel skills (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables) and document findings with clarity, supporting the reconciliation backups. This role offers exposure to global campaigns within Publicis Groupe and a chance to develop

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Accounting/Finance/Business with keen interest in finance operations.
• Aptitude for basic accounting concepts, AR/AP, debits/credits and currencies.
• Proactive learner with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform client reconciliations by matching invoices, receipts and financial transactions across multiple currencies.
• Validate transaction details and local currency amounts for accuracy.
• Identify and analyse FX, timing, and settlement differences.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched or outstanding transactions.
• Prepare exception reports and highlight discrepancies for Finance review.
• Support maintenance of accurate financial records and reconciliation documentation.

You will play a vital role in our finance team by contributing to various financial processes/operations and gaining valuable experience in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform client reconciliations by matching invoices, receipts, and financial transactions across multiple currencies.
• Validate transaction details and local currency amounts to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and analyse foreign exchange (FX), timing, and settlement differences.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched or outstanding transactions.
• Prepare exception reports and highlight discrepancies for Finance team review.
• Support the maintenance of accurate financial records and reconciliation documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree student in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of basic accounting concepts, particularly accounts receivable/payable, debits and credits, and foreign currencies.
• Willingness to learn, proactive in acquiring new knowledge
• Strong Excel skills, particularly:
• XLOOKUP
• SUMIFS
• PivotTables
• Filters/sorting
• Basic data cleansing
• Reconciliation and matching of large datasets
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with high-volume transaction data involving multiple currencies.
• Able to document findings clearly and maintain proper supporting evidence.
