Job summary

Publicis Groupe in Singapore is seeking a Diploma/degree student to join our finance team as an internship focused on financial operations and reconciliations. You will perform client reconciliations, validate transactions across currencies, and analyze FX movements to ensure accuracy.

We value strong Excel skills (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables) and thorough attention to detail. This role offers exposure to large data sets and documentation of findings for audit trails.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree student in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Strong grasp of AR/AP, debits/credits and foreign currencies.
• Willingness to learn; proactive in acquiring new knowledge.
• Excellent Excel skills: XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling high-volume multi-currency data.
• Ability to document findings with supporting evidence.

• Perform client reconciliations by matching invoices, receipts, and financial transactions across multiple currencies.
• Validate transaction details and local currency amounts to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and analyse foreign exchange (FX), timing, and settlement differences.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched or outstanding transactions.
• Prepare exception reports and highlight discrepancies for Finance team review.
• Support the maintenance of accurate financial records and reconciliation documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree student inAccounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of basic accounting concepts, particularly accounts receivable/payable, debits and credits, and foreign currencies.
• Willingness to learn, proactive in acquiring new knowledge
• Strong Excel skills, particularly:
  • XLOOKUP
  • SUMIFS
  • PivotTables
  • Filters/sorting
  • Basic data cleansing
  • Reconciliation and matching of large datasets
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
