Job summary

Shiseido Travel Retail in Singapore is seeking a Finance Intern to assist in accounts receivable/payable, invoicing and month-end close activities. You will help manage payments, maintain records, and support various accounting tasks in a global beauty company.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will gain exposure to vendor and customer accounts while developing professional accounting skills and contributing to timely settlements and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor undergraduate majoring in preferably Accountancy.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; motivated with high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines, targets and objectives

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable operations including collections and credit notes
• Support credit check review
• Handle AR queries from customers & other departments
• Handle accounts payable operations including validation and posting of invoices
• Validation and posting of employees’ reimbursement claims
• Reconciliation of vendor & other statements & balances
• Responding to queries from vendors & other departments
• Support month-end closing activities
• Ad-hoc finance related assignments
