Job summary

Univers is building a decarbonization platform in Singapore, and we seek a university student to support FP&A activities, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

You will assist with financial analysis, prepare presentations, and help maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools under guidance from the Finance team. Exposure to OneStream and data visualization is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong interest in FP&A, corporate finance, analytics.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to Power BI or data visualization is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python/SQL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
• Assist with financial analysis and performance tracking to help identify key business trends and drivers.
• Support the preparation of presentations and reporting materials for management meetings and business reviews.
• Assist in maintaining management reporting tools, including Power BI and OneStream, and help validate data and report accuracy.
• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, with guidance from the Finance team.
• Assist with data gathering, validation, and analysis from financial and business systems.
• Support Finance Transformation initiatives, including reporting improvements, process standardization, and simple workflow automation.
• Assist in documenting finance and business processes, including process maps, workflows, and potential improvement opportunities.
• Explore how AI, Microsoft Copilot, and automation tools can support finance processes and productivity, with guidance from the team.
• Participate in ad hoc analyses and projects supporting the FP&A and Corporate Finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently pursuing a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in FP&A, corporate finance, business analytics, and technology-enabled finance transformation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or financial modelling concepts is preferred.
• Exposure to Power BI, data visualization tools, or business intelligence platforms is an advantage.
• Interest in Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, automation tools, or data analytics is desirable. Prior experience building AI agents is ideal.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power Platform, or other analytical tools would be advantageous.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn new systems, technologies, and business processes.
