Job summary

Grant Thornton Singapore is seeking a Finance (General Ledger) Intern to support month-end close, balance sheet schedules, and internal reporting. The role involves system testing and ad hoc duties as assigned, with a 6-month full-time internship requirement.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a diploma or degree, have basic GL knowledge, strong attention to detail, and proficient Excel skills including pivot tables.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a diploma or degree in a recognised institute.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of 6 months or longer.
• Basic understanding of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with macros and automation will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support in General Ledger related tasks including month-end closing work and maintenance of Balance Sheet schedules.
• Support in internal reporting requests.
• Support in system testing work.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
