Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a Finance Executive (Reconciliation) for the DSC/ET team in Singapore. You will process overseas allowances, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate payment processing in line with SLAs and guidelines.

We value a diploma/degree in accounting with about 1 year of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. AI tools experience is a plus, with training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Preferably Diploma or Degree in accounting.
• Preferably 1 year working experience.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Able to work well both in a team and independently
• Experience with applied AI or workflow automation is a major plus.
• Proficiency in using generative AI tools to drive productivity is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Assess, compute and approve payment of overseas allowances and claims in system promptly and accurately, according to policies and guidelines.
• Monitor outstanding debts arising from overpayment of allowances/claims and manage debt recovery process.
• Conduct sampling checks on payment cases and follow up to rectify payment errors, if any.
• Handle customer's queries on policies, procedures and systems.
• Prepare management reports for review by Supervisor/Officer in Charge.
• Safekeeping financial documents & safeguard financial information of customers.
