Finance Executive (Payroll cum General Cashier)

Join IHG Hotels & Resorts as a Finance Executive (Payroll cum General Cashier) and contribute to impeccable financial operations at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong & Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong.

Responsibilities

• Perform payroll processing and month-end closing with high accuracy, ensuring timely submission of all monthly and yearly reports to authorities.
• Ensure overtime claims are supported by proper approval and authorization.
• Prepare input for payroll runs, including hours worked, terminations, adjustments, annual, sick, and recreation leave.
• Reconcile automatic payroll deductions such as superannuation payments and city ledger entries.
• Supervise filing of payroll reports and pay slips.
• Journalize payroll summaries each month.
• Examine year-to-date tax calculations and prepare tax returns.
• Prepare provident fund and other related payments to the CPF Board.
• Submit all other payments and filings to local authorities on specified timelines.
• Coordinate with other departments on accounting matters and internal controls.
• Assist in analysing monthly financial accounts and provide financial information to the Finance Manager.
• Maintain relationships with CPF/MOM/Labour Offices to ensure correct and current rate of pay and manage labour/union agreements.
• Assist in monthly forecasting and annual budget input related to payroll data.
• Prepare manual payments for terminations.
• Perform additional duties as required.
