Job summary

VIPTEACHER PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage full-set accounts and ensure accurate month-end closings. You will prepare journal entries and reconciliations, compile monthly management accounts, and support GST submissions.

Ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting or finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Oracle and MS Excel/Word is preferred, with attention to detail and accuracy paramount.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of Singapore accounting and GST.
• Ability to handle full-set accounts independently would be preferred.
• Experience with Oracle systems and strong MS Excel/Word skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• ACCA/CA qualification or ongoing studies would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Perform monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and general ledger review.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and other month-end adjustments.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and supporting schedules.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Support GST preparation/submission and other Singapore statutory requirements.
• Maintain fixed asset register and supporting accounting schedules.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and corporate secretarial providers as required.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of invoices, payments, contracts and supporting records.
• Undertake other finance and accounting matters assigned by management.
