Job summary

ACCA Careers, on behalf of our client in Singapore, is seeking a capable General Ledger professional to lead a small team focused on grant accounting and project financial management. You will oversee month-end and year-end closings, ensure accurate reporting and timely audit readiness, and drive improvements across billing, disbursement, and grant reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team handling grant-related financial operations
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, including audit schedules
• Ensure accuracy of grant-related balance sheet accounts
• Review grant documentation and apply appropriate accounting treatments
• Maintain project accounts, variations and lifecycle tracking
• Ensure timely claims submissions and disbursements
• Monitor and clear outstanding items, closing project accounts on completion
• Review grant billings, statements, and reconciliations of incoming funds
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve stakeholder queries
• Handle GST, corporate tax, and statistical reporting related to grants
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters
• Drive process improvements and participate in ad-hoc finance projects
