Job summary

OCTOPUS DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced finance professional in Singapore to manage accounts receivable, perform monthly closings, and prepare the P&L and Balance Sheet with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and meticulous attention to detail. You will liaise with auditors, coordinate inter-department accounting issues, and leverage SAP knowledge and MS Office to support financial statements and audit schedules.

Qualifications

• GCE O Level or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle and reconcile accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly closing, monthly P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Perform accounting analysis and maintain Balance sheet schedules.
• Reconcile inter-company balances.
• Liaise with auditors; prepare audit schedules and financial statements.
• Handle bank reconciliation and petty cash.
• Coordinate with other departments on accounting issues.
• Submit Letter of Credit documents to bank.
• Perform other ad-hoc or relevant duties when assigned.

• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to start work in short notice
