Your Impact and Contribution
- 1. Manage the Accounts Payable process, including supplier invoice verification, invoice coding and posting, and accurate data entry. (Core Responsibility)
- 2. Handle bank payments, ensuring payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. (Core Responsibility)
- 3. Manage the Accounts Receivable process, including billing and collections.
- 4. Prepare journal vouchers and post accounting entries accurately into the accounting system (SAP).
- 5. Perform bank reconciliations, related-party reconciliations, and cross-charge transactions.
- 6. Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and manage monthly depreciation entries.
- 7. Prepare and generate timely and accurate monthly financial reports and updates.
- 8. Support the Finance team in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and necessary adjustments.
- 9. Provide support for the annual external audit and budgeting exercises, including preparation of relevant schedules and supporting documents.
- 10. Assist with new process and system implementations and other finance-related projects as required.
- 11. Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders, including schools, centres, and headquarters, on finance and accounting matters.
- 12. Perform any other duties and ad-hoc assignments as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Diploma, ITE Certificate in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent qualification. with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Independent, organised, and a good team player, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
